DR MICHAEL BECKETT

Dr Michael Beckett was born in rural WA, grew up in suburban Perth and studied medicine at The University of Western Australia graduating as a doctor with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 2003.
After working for several years in a wide range of hospital positions, Dr Beckett completed his post-graduate training in family medicine with a focus on surgery and vasectomy.
Dr Beckett has performed thousands of vasectomies for over 10 years using the No-Scalpel, Open-Ended Vasectomy technique, which has been proven to be less invasive with a far lower complication rate than traditional methods.

Dr Jape is a Family Medicine Practitioner with over 20 years of experience in reproductive health, specialising in vasectomy procedures and male contraception. With a deep understanding of reproductive anatomy and family planning from both male and female perspectives, Dr Jape offers a uniquely comprehensive approach to permanent contraception.
Dr Jape has trained both in Australia and overseas, worked in various hospitals across WA, and has extensive surgical experience spanning over two decades. He performs no-scalpel vasectomy (NSV) a safe, effective and minimally invasive procedure. This modern approach offers less discomfort, lower risk of complications and faster recovery compared to traditional methods. He strongly believes in a patient centered, nonjudgemental approach, emphasising thorough consultations to address any concerns and provide clear, detailed information about the procedure and its benefits. He works closely with patients, ensuring they are comfortable before and after the procedure with appropriate follow-up care.
