All patients require an initial consultation to discuss the procedure, perform a brief medical examination if necessary, and provide an opportunity for patients to have any questions answered. Partners are more than welcome to attend the initial consultation if desired.

Our clinic does offer same-day procedures, where the initial consultation occurs, followed by surgery shortly afterwards for patients who are certain they no longer want children. This is particularly convenient for remote and rural patients, as it requires only one trip to the clinic. 

At Perth Vasectomy Clinic, surgery is performed by our experienced and highly regarded surgeons, Dr Michael Beckett (MBBS, DRANZCOG, FRACGP) and Dr Kedar Jape (MBBS, MD, DGO, FRACGP), using the most up-to-date and least invasive vasectomy technique available worldwide.

Initial consultations for vasectomy are available on alternating Mondays and Tuesdays, while consultation and same-day surgery are available on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays.
